In this lesson, several chapters of Exodus {5,6,7,9 11.12.22-23, etc} are covered. Pharaoh refused to obey God’s command. God used his rebellion to display his almighty power by sending 9 plagues at first. Pharaoh hardened his heart and God then told of an 10th and final plague of dire consequence. All Egyptians’ first-born children, even animals, died from the Destroying Angel, but the Israelites survived by obedience to God’s provision of a lamb’s sacrifice to cover their households, hence the plague would “pass over”.
