We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It’s completely true, and its writers were supernaturally inspired to inform us of everything we need in order to know the truth, grow in wisdom, and live godly lives.
We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, perfectly holy, sovereign, and good.
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is fully man and fully God, the one and only Lord and Savior, who died for our sins and was raised on the third day.
We believe that salvation comes by grace through faith in Christ. Salvation is a free gift for all who repent (change their mind and course of life) and place their trust in Christ. It’s impossible to earn salvation from God by our so-called “good works”. But good works will indeed result from that faith in Christ through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, who comes to live in each new believer.
We believe in the Church. God designated that His people would gather into local assemblies, that is churches –who care and support each other in becoming more like Christ. And as this body of believers grow more like Jesus, they will be in turn produce more disciples (followers) of Christ among all ethnos (people groups of the world). We sometimes state it this way: Love God, Love People, Tell Others!
We believe that Jesus is coming back. Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead, condemning those who reject Him to an eternal separation from God, but rewarding whoever has placed their trust in Christ with eternal life and fellowship with Him
We believe Heaven and Hell are real. Heaven is one part of the indescribable gift of God’s grace. Hell, on the other hand, is the eternal, horrifying destination for all who are disconnected from Jesus. For this reason it is imperative we love others enough to tell them, at any cost, about salvation in Jesus Christ!
